Baked Salmon Dijon
Easy and tasty way to prepare salmon
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1½ tablespoons chives (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- ¼ teaspoon cooking salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 4 salmon fillets
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200° C (180°C fan forced).
- Line a large baking dish with aluminium foil, leaving enough over the sides to cover the fish later. Grease with olive oil. For a crisper result, do not use aluminium foil – simply grease the baking dish with olive oil.2 teaspoons olive oil
- Combine olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, chives, lemon peel, salt and pepper .2 teaspoons olive oil, 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1½ tablespoons chives, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, ¼ teaspoon cooking salt, 1 pinch ground black pepper
- Rub mixture over both sides of salmon. Place on the foil in the baking dish (skin side down if not skinned) and cover with the remaining foil – allow small opening for steam.4 salmon fillets
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes, opening the foil halfway through cooking.
