…And so, in my teens, began a small file of around 20 – 30 recipes that I called “My Favourite Recipes”. I would sit and watch Mum and write down what she was doing – forcing her to use those “silly” measuring cups so I could repeat her masterpieces! She thought the whole thing rather amusing and perhaps expected that my handwritten recipes would soon be forgotten…
